Tecnologia israelense traz o coração em hologramas 3D nas mãos dos médicos para salvar vidas

Em Israel, avanços tecnológicos se misturam com a medicina para salvar vidas.
Os fãs da série de filmes do Homem de Ferro de Hollywood estão acostumados a ver o herói Tony Stark manipular hologramas 3D para criar maravilhas cientificas. A Real View, uma empresa de holografia médica israelense está trazendo a fantasia à realidade com hologramas 3D que os médicos podem usar salvar vidas.
“Real View está desenvolvendo o que é provavelmente o sistema de visualização interativa 3D mais avançado. Nosso sistema holográfico permite que os médicos trabalhem com a anatomia real em três dimensões do paciente mostrando hologramas volumétricos precisos que flutuam no ar”, disse Aviad Kaufman, fundador e CEO da Real View.
A holografia foi inventada pelo cientista judeu Dennis Gabor, ganhador do Prêmio Nobel. Segundo o site da Real View, “Real View Imagem conseguiu inventar e desenvolver um sistema que pode receber corrente volumétrica como a ultrassom 3D ou qualquer outra estática ou corrente de volumes, convertendo em tempo real os padrões de interferência e projetando hologramas reais utilizando estes padrões de interferência”.
Durante um ensaio clínico realizado em colaboração com Phillips Healthcare do Schneider Children Medical Center de Israel, o Dr. Elchanan Bruckheimer utilizou a angiografia 3D para ajudar a reparar o coração de uma menina de 16 anos.
Segudo Bruckheimer, “Como um cardiologista intervencionista dependo de imagens médicas para me guiar através dos meus procedimentos. O primeiro dos testes em humanos de cateterismo com o sistema holográfico realizado em meu laboratório permitiu trabalhar efetivamente com hologramas ao vivo em 3D e explorar as vantagens únicas de um verdadeiro ambiente 3D. Pela primeira vez em minha carreira tive em minha mão, literalmente o coração virtual do paciente“.
